NCL Technology Ventures, which has a base at Discovery Park, Kent, is a joint venture the UK’s National Renewable Energy Centre, with its primary purpose to commercialise the IP that came through the centre of excellence, on behalf of UK Plc. NCL has three distinct business units that work collaboratively to support their portfolio companies and maximise investment performance:

• NCL Venture Management - providing lead institutional investment, at the commercialisation and scale up stage
• NCL Corporate Finance - providing advice on capital strategy, syndicates alongside our venture funds and raises additional capital required by our portfolio companies as they hit future value infection points
• NCL Innovation – providing experienced commercial and technical scale up support to promising companies both before and during the investment period
