What We Do

We allow our clients to rent telephone handsets via our IP Telephone Systems, servers in our onsite data centres, PC's on desks, laptops, Backup and Disaster Recovery services, shared printers, remote monitoring services and software supply and support.

All services are primarily based on a simple per user per month basis (PUPM) making it easy for clients to add and remove users as the business requirements change. Certain services are contracted over 1, 3, 5 or 10 year terms, whilst others provide easy in easy out, low cost monthly contracts making it simple for clients to forecast and budget.

Communicate PLC currently support 3 Business Parks spread across the UK with over 200 clients and approximately 5,000 end users.

Wynyard Business Park

Wynyard Business Park is the UK headquarters of Communicate Technology PLC and was our first managed business park where we proved the concept of delivering IT and Telecoms services over a converged infrastructure. We have tenants based both on the park and throughout the North all served by direct links to our network. After Initial trials were proved successful we rolled out the services to all tenants and now provide connections to over 80% of the parks occupiers.

We have gigabit internet connections in our dedicated server rooms with telecoms, networking and audio visual services all ready to have clients connected instantly.

Wynyard is also home to our remote support and help desk facilities for all of our locations where client's equipment and incoming services are monitored and reported 24x7. It is also home to R&D where proof of concept and customer trials are carried out before roll out of new services to clients.
Our onsite engineers work with clients everyday helping to support and improve their IT and telecoms delivery and provide friendly, no nonsense advice to help grow their business.

Discovery Park

Discovery Park houses 1.5m sq. ft. of high-class secure accommodation and is located at the former Pfizer site in Sandwich, Kent – one of the largest research and development facilities in Europe.

Having worked with – and impressed – the team behind Discovery Park on its earlier venture, Wynyard Park on Teesside, Communicate were at the former Pfizer headquarters on day one, well before many of the new tenants arrived. We have installed a one gigabit data network and all the technology needed to provide a comprehensive IT and phone service, allowing us to now offer the complete package – or any of elements within it – to customers as they move in. Working with the teams at Wynyard and Discovery Park has allowed us to service world-class businesses – global clients from Pfizer to BP alongside national companies such as National Grid and the NHS and local education providers East Kent College.

Colworth Science Park

Colworth Science Park is an innovative science, research and business park centrally located on the Oxford to Cambridge arc.
Set within picturesque landscaped grounds with stunning views of the surrounding Bedfordshire countryside, Colworth Park is located in an exceptionally secure environment, the ideal working atmosphere.

We officially took control of the parks IT infrastructure on April 1st 2015 and we have already made a number of key improvements, in addition to our future plans for the park.
One of the first changes to take place is a major overhaul of the network within the site; we aim to improve the network connectivity to all tenants by improving both network speed and availability.

As with all of our other business park locations we will have our expert engineers on site from day one, allowing us to offer our full package of services including: Networks, Telephone Systems, IT Support, Managed Services, Hosted Services and Web Services.
